What’s the difference between QVR Pro and other NAS-based surveillance systems? #Qnap qvr client has stopped working license key In the past, surveillance applications were just one of the many applications on NAS. QVR Pro, QNAP’s brand-new surveillance application, introduces the concept of "dedicated storage space" to ensure that the storage is fully reserved for QVR Pro and the system performance will not be impacted by other applications on NAS.Ĭross-platform hardware-accelerated video decoding There was no dedicated storage for surveillance recordings and usually the system performance was limited, making it unsuitable to fulfill the requirements of professional surveillance systems. When converting fisheye images with common monitoring software, the device CPU load will be as high as 75%. However, with QVR Pro Client, the device CPU load only reaches 25% even when simultaneously converting nine channels. Note: Hardware-accelerated video decoding is achieved by using a graphics card (or integrated graphics in the CPU) to reduce the device CPU load, allowing you to monitor more cameras at the same time while the device continues operating smoothly. The QVR Pro Client client software can be installed on Windows® and Mac® devices or in QNAP’s HD Station on NAS, allowing you to monitor from different platforms and flexibly switch from live view or playback mode to take full control over the monitored area. #Qnap qvr client has stopped working full Monitor the live view of multiple channels and play recordings on a single interface. With just one click you can switch between live, individual playback and sync playback modes. You can also view recordings at a specific time by clicking the time line or by selecting a time range. The QVR Pro Client provides a highly-customizable display panel. You can change each channel’s display ratio, arrange the display, or use the built-in display module to fulfill your surveillance needs. The updated Region of Interest (ROI) feature supports multiple regional images from the same camera in live view and playback mode. You can define and enlarge multiple areas on the overview image with no selection limitations or additional licenses required. The innovative Qdewarp enables users to view standard fisheye camera recordings in proportional ratios and sizes without affecting original recordings. The distorted parts on the edges can be turned into a clear panoramic view. If an event occurs, you can quickly know the camera’s location on the e-map to ensure a timely response. #Qnap qvr client has stopped working pro.#Qnap qvr client has stopped working full.#Qnap qvr client has stopped working license key.(I see there is a feature update available, but I'll have to do that over the weekend.)ĮDIT: and I don't have any errors in the QvrCenter log. Has anyone seen this behavior? I have monitored traffic and can not see any bottlenecks or indications of saturated connections on my network. The qvrpro video uses another nic for the few cameras that server is supporting. ![]() This is all on the same internal network and I have a separate NIC on the qvrcenter server just for qvrcenter management traffic (400 KB/s which is 3.2mbps on 1 1Gbps link). I believe this to be an issue with the QVRcenter losing is connection with the client. Selecting another view or camera does not restore the video. It does not matter which server the camera is set up on, they all disconnect. Occasionally, all cameras show disconnected. All clients connect to the QVRcenter server and I can manage user permissions, views, etc and can see video from cameras from all 18 servers. My setup:ġ8 servers running QVRPro, with one of those running QVRcenter. I am having an issue with multiple QVRPro clients showing disconnected from all camera feeds randomly and you have to close and reopen the client or log out and back in to reconnect.
